Health screenings involve tests that identify diseases before any noticeable symptoms occur. These tests help physicians treat many diseases early such as breast, cervical, prostate, and colorectal cancer, as well as diabetes and osteoporosis. 

The tests that patients are given during health screenings are given according to age, sex, and pre-existing conditions in their families. Health screenings often give insight as to what changes are needed in a certain lifestyle to remain healthy.
